Chris Bucchere is the President & CEO of bdg. He spent nearly five years helping build Plumtree (the product and the company) and was involved in every major release of the portal from 1998 to 2002 along with several add-on products, including integration frameworks that supported Siebel, Documentum, SAP, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Excel. An alumnus of Stanford University’s computer science program, Chris also interned at Trilogy, Microsoft and Javasoft (now Sun Microsystems).

Chris has been a featured speaker at seven Plumtree Odysseys, at BEA World 2006, at BEA Participate 2007 and 2008, at Oracle Open World 2008, at Northern Virginia Java User Group and Washington DC BEA User Group meetings and at the San Francisco State University College of Graduate Business Studies. He blogs and produces a very much irregular and irreverent podcast about bdg, Plumtree and Enterprise 2.0
